Training in Research Data Management and Open Science with Aalto University

Aalto University’s Data Agents and Research Data Management Network offer open to all training in research data management and open science. Find more information on workshops in the spring term of 2023 here.

Project-1
Become an External Evaluator for the RDA Open Calls in the EOSC Future project

The Research Data Alliance (RDA) – in the context of EOSC Future –  is seeking applications for experts to become external evaluators for a series of diverse grants to be funded over the duration of the EOSC Future project (April 2021 – September 2023). Evaluators will be responsible for evaluating applications in response to RDA’s Open Calls. EOSC Future aims to have a pool of international external evaluators to support its decision-making processes for the award of these grants.

This is a continuous call and will remain open according to the project’s needs. Review of initial applications for evaluators will begin in late July 2021. Submit your application as soon as possible for early consideration, latest 30 Jul 2023. More information here.

Project-1
Optimising (RDA) Open Science Frameworks and Guidelines in the context of EOSC – Round 2

This opportunity, closing 20 February 2023, invites applications from research groups, including the RDA groups, to demonstrate how RDA-developed data sharing concepts and solutions can be reused, optimised and implemented in the EOSC context, particularly in the context of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) Portal Catalogue and Marketplace. EOSC is building a federated infrastructure to support Europe’s data output and works to enable the discovery and re-use of FAIR research data. In this context RDA plays a key role to underpin new and existing pathways to sharing research data. Many specifications already exist in RDA for data sharing and these can be refined and further developed via this call.

A wide range of activities – including promotional, analysis and technical documentation activities – can be funded through this call. Max per grant: €12.500. More information here.
